Meet Collin. He is our Budgett’s Frog.
The Budgett’s Frog is an adorable looking frog. It has a wide comical face and a body that seems entirely too large for its legs. These surprising characteristics have led to a common name for the Budgett’s, which aptly describes these funny frogs, the “Hippo Frog”.
Budgett’s Frog’s have a rounded, flattened body with eyes set high on their head, giving them a blob-like appearance. They have short limbs, which do not make them particularly efficient swimmers. They do not have teeth, but they do have two sharp protrusions inside their large mouth which serve the same purpose.
